Khavda Renewable Energy Park: World's Largest Green Energy Park

The Khavda Renewable Energy Park in Gujarat's Kutch region is under construction to become the world's largest renewable energy installation. Spanning 726 square kilometers (roughly the size of Singapore), this wind-solar hybrid project will have a generation capacity of 30 GW.

Strategically located in a highly secure, uninhabited border zone, the park takes advantage of the region's vast solar radiation and high wind speeds.

Gigantic Proportions Upon completion by 2030, Khavda will produce around 81 billion units of green electricity annually, enough to power over 16 million homes and offset 58 million tonnes of CO₂ emissions every year.

Hybrid Synergy By combining wind turbines and solar photovoltaic panels in a hybrid layout, the facility optimizes power evacuation grids. Solar energy peaks during midday, while wind speeds peak during the evening and night, providing a steadier power supply.
